100K Dash

Well, after 4 years, 4 months, 3 days, 5 hours and 13 minutes; I reached 100K on my odometer. Yay! I was on my way for Iftar Ramadhan with fellow 206 members. It was a great memories with my lion and I’m looking forward for more in the future.

11 Volt = Failed

Mileage: 99,827KM

Today, a year, 5 months and 15 days (from the last replacement), I had a flat battery. Just in time for me to go home from work. I thought I had a failed fuel pump or coil pack failure etc. because of no warning beep from BSI. The engine started for a second and shut down afterwards…

Just received a super rare Peugeot part from UK. I have been scouring over the Internet and running over and over to breaker yards hopefully to find it but to no avail until recently. I stumbled across this item when actually I was looking for something else.

Part number 6680.J7; Anti-Theft Siren Bracket.

Two Tones; Twin Horn

Do It Yourself: Yes
Difficulty: Moderate

Another part from 206 GTI180 parts bin. I dislike the standard horn fitting, it sounded… well, not to my liking. It’s a single tone anyway and the throw is not directive enough to warn intended person to notice my location. Being a “Low Trim” option, there must be something from the premium specification that can replace it, hence the 206 GTI180 twin horn.
