Well, my puggy trombe {english = trumpets | automotive = horns} kaput since… I can’t remember exactly. The single horn is an unpleasant experience to me ears. I can’t pinpoint exactly which one is the issue but alas, will change both. Can refer to this link for my horn upgrade done in July, 2013.

Girgio Micro Carbonio

Mileage: 117,573KM

Another interior upgrade, cost me roughly RM680 to have it. “Girgio Micro Carbonio” is actually a term for micro carbon effect for 206 RC / GTI180 interior fascia equipment. Upgrade include following items:

  • MFD cowling
  • Centre fascia
  • Both aircond vent
  • All interior door lever cover
  • Leather binnacle / instrument cluster cover

Seat Belt with Alarm

Mileage: 112,749KM

Beautiful Saturday morning with nothing else to do, thus I proceed with another project. Seat belt warning or in Peugeot parts documentation, it is called “Front Seat Belt with Alarm”. The idea to activate this feature was struck on my mind when I suddenly came across an online sale of 206 RC / GTI180 front seat belt. It does have an extra wiring which will connect to somewhere. The purchase, I would say, quite rush coz I did not check my ride for the necessary wiring underneath the seat before I pressed the checkout button. Alas, I managed to fix it and it works.

Trip Meter

Finally, I managed to display trip reading on the MFD. I chose to modify my existing COMM2000 instead of replacing it with another unit. However, I need to find another unit of COMM2000 because I need the trip button from it. Fortunately, my friend willing to part away his unused and busted COMM2000 for me to continue this experiment.

Single Line 2 Multi Line

Mileage: 111,041KM

In pursuing to upgrade the trim level of my lion, this is the one of three items which I can categorized as the most expensive (even for a used unit). The level of upgrade will start from MFD -> Comm2000 -> Rain Sensor / Windscreen. These upgrades will take a long time to complete as I need to study to make sure these “retro-fitting” works and does not explode my car. A lot of mix and match needed to reach the objective.
