Quick lub and spark plug service.
Another routine service for the engine but out of preventive maintenance schedule for the AL4 (gearbox). For the past few weeks, I had random limp modes on the gearbox. At most, 5 – 6 times in a single trip. Means, 5 – 6 times, I have to restart the car to clear off the limp mode temporarily.
Routine service schedule and not many items in the list that need to be done. Only a filter and engine oil change. The mileage is a bit overshoot from the recommended interval set by the BSI alas 2.5K extra still within the threshold. Today is the return of Amsoil as the lubricant brand of choice.
150K service due and apart from usual engine oil change, I’m going to replace the transmission oil and some rubber bushes at the front suspension system.
Two things need to be done this time around. Engine timing belt change and whatever components related to it, and scheduled engine lube service which is already due.
