In pursuing to upgrade the trim level of my lion, this is the one of three items which I can categorized as the most expensive (even for a used unit). The level of upgrade will start from MFD -> Comm2000 -> Rain Sensor / Windscreen. These upgrades will take a long time to complete as I need to study to make sure these “retro-fitting” works and does not explode my car. A lot of mix and match needed to reach the objective.

Gear Console Re-Revisited

I revisited gear console area today. A few enhancements needed in this area due to “Low Option” approach adopted in assembling the 206 Bestari. What I am trying do is to replicate as close as possible to CBU 206 especially 1.4 TU3JP/KFW model. In the last DIY, I managed to fix back the missing glovebox lighting and for this time around, I will be adding in two new features which are missing in my car.

Glovebox Light

Due to unforeseen reasons, I begin to KIV some of the currently running upgrade projects and start looking into the “To Do” list again. The reason being is just to find if by any chance, I skipped any planned upgrades before. “Glovebox Lighting”…. it has been shelved for quite a long time…. time to revive the idea.

Sauna Box on Wheels

My air conditioning system was out of order on April 30th, 2012. Almost 3 years owning the lion. The system was not working at optimum level couple of months before but it was apparent on April that drove me to have a full system check after countless times the gas being refilled. Early symptom was hissing sound when switched on or off the system. Topping up the gas can only sustained for months before it decreases to weeks. At last, it can only sustained for up to 6 weeks.
